About me
Meet Kathryn Smith, a dedicated entrepreneur and advocate for small businesses. As the Founder
and Principal Consultant of Walton Birch, a growing web development and digital marketing firm
based in Marietta, GA, Kathryn focuses on helping small businesses establish a credible online
presence through expertly-built websites, online stores and targeted marketing campaigns.
In addition to her role at Walton Birch, Kathryn is a co-founder of the Black Lady Business School,
an Atlanta-based organization dedicated to supporting underestimated women and minority
entrepreneurs by lowering barriers to success in the business world.
During Kathryn's professional career she has worked for several Fortune 500 companies in Atlanta
including AT&T, Cox Automotive, and The Home Depot.
Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Women’s Studies from Agnes Scott College, and her

business community. She currently co-chairs the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Committee of
the Cobb Chamber's DE&I Council and serves as the D2 Cobb Cabinet Lead for Entrepreneurship

underestimated founders, consistently exploring new ways to serve and uplift aspiring
