Hi! I’m Laura Potts, a member of the AGC Georgia team serving as a Member Engagement & Workforce Specialist. I bring a decade of experience in education as a High School Counselor, where I was honored to be named 2024 Cobb County School District HS Counselor of Impact and recognized as a 2024 semi-finalist for the Georgia School Counselor Association (GSCA) Counselor of the Year. Throughout my career, I’ve been actively involved in construction education pathways and initiatives, leading Trade Talks for students and spearheading education efforts with teachers and counselors to raise awareness about opportunities in the skilled trades and support career exploration. I’ve been driven by a passion for helping people find the right path. Whether that means choosing a career, building professional skills, or simply connecting with the right resources.
